The Gassers

Me with both "halves" of the Gassers, taken this summer at their homecoming.

I admire and love these two people- a lot.  My mission president and his wife are amazing.  Last night they called a "sisters meeting" at their cabin in Kamas.  It was a lot of fun! Elise and I went early, and were lucky enough to spend time with just the Gassers.  How lucky are we? We helped get the delicious dinner ready that Sister Gasser arranged.  It was so enjoyable to see these beautiful girls, and share that common bond:  Hungary.  We were able to talk about the same apartments we lived in, in Hungary... the Hungarians we knew and still love... bakeries we frequented.... it was delightful.  I know that having a large group of girls up to your cabin (which you have to snowmobile to) requires a lot of effort, the Gassers are amazing.  Thank you for another great memory....

  1. How fun! Alison said Hailey is doing a project on Hungary for school and you are going to help her- what a cool aunt! I said I could come help present the project by counting to ten! (hege, ketu, harem, nage ut... )
