(I promise we also did plenty of productive things this week also-- well mostly Andrew, I did however, finally make it to my classroom and spent 5 long hours there. It felt good.)

Together
This weekend we did a lot- together- which made everything so much more enjoyable. Friday night we babysat 5 cute kids together while Alison and Rhett went out for their 11th wedding anniversary! Saturday we slept in together, and went to the local Farmer's Market together. We ate some yummy chicken and some delicious cherries. Afterwards I napped (alone) but when I woke up we went to see Inception together. Really interesting movie if you are up for a deep thinker. :) After the movie we did housework/yard work together. So as you can see, we had a very low-key weekend. But we spent it together, and that makes all the difference.

You two are THE couple to beat! I love you guys!! Awesome weekend... I love weekends (or any days) like that. I can't wait to see Inception (unfortunately we'll have to wait till it's available on Netflix... we're hermits like that)
ReplyDeleteps. what on earth does one do in an empty classroom for five hours in the middle of summer? that's not a trick question. it's fur realzies. i cannot fathom. unless it's chase the class bunny around the room... that might take up 5 hours? Or color... i like to color. but not for 5 hours.
ok. i'll stop now.
lol Katy-- did you see that girl on American Idol?! The question was: "What is something a lot of people don't know about you?" Answer: " I like to color." Then there was a whole musical monologue about her coloring!! THAT is what came to mind when I read your comment! You could never imagine what goes on in a classroom 'after hours' even in summer hours... there is ALWAYS something... ugh. YOU MAY want to consider making a trip to the Paramount Theaters when Inception is there- so you don't have to wait forever-- just an idea! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Sweetie: Mom and I are so proud of you and Andrew and the news of your new arrival in February, 2011...you're life will never be the same once that little bambino arrives from heaven. But that's okay, for that is what this life is all about! Love Paps
ReplyDeletehahah!!! no, i haven't seen that American Idol with crazy coloring girl!! but she sounds awesome... and a tad loco-- i'd love her, i'm sure.
ReplyDeletei wish you were my 5th grade teacher... i wuld be smrt and not dum.
