Andrew and Ryan headed to line up
Taking off... he's over there somewhere
After the race- haha-
Saturday morning we headed up to Riverton bright and early, so that Andrew could participate in his first bike race. He was excited for a new challenge. It was exciting for me as well. He ended up coming in first, well we think, because the race was poorly marked, I didn't know where the finish line was. SO, I was standing on the corner when I saw Andrew headed back to the parking lot, after he had already completed the race. Darn! O-well it was fun-- way to go Andrew!

Later on we headed over to the Freedom Festival. It was really big this year, which made me happy. 100s of vendors and interesting things to see. Unfortunately, we had just eaten and were stuffed, so we couldn't eat a funnel cake, but I have plans to return tomorrow and indulge!
Happy Fourth of July!
wahoo Andrew! What a biking man he's become! I want funnel cake now too- and it's only 10 am. And I love the shot of the cake in your sunglasses. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteSUCH a cool dude you have there, Kris!! You guys should totally come up to Rexburg and do the Ride for the Romance race. Here's the link for more info on that... should be really pretty! http://www.rexburg.org/ride.aspx
ReplyDeleteps. you totally rock the "Uncle Sam" look-- i'm one jealous cat. I can only pull of Lady Liberty (it's gotta be the long, flowy gown... it's forgiving)
Way to go Andrew! Wish we could have been there to cheer you on...maybe Tate will become obsessed with biking. :)
