Bountiful Blessings

Fall arrived this week. The colors are changing and the air is cool. I love fall, despite what comes AFTER fall.... dun dun dun.
About a month ago I attended a 'Service Auction' at a Relief Society meeting. I 'purchased' a card that had the following written on it: "I will provide the jars and help, and you provide the something to can." I was thrilled! Today, I cashed that card in and spent a couple hours canning with my friend Karen. When I was younger dad canned cinnamon apples, maybe I was feeling a bit nostalgic, but I searched the internet until I found a recipe that sounded like it could have been the one dad used. :) I had a lot of fun, and learned a lot about canning. Thank you Karen! This is two years in a row now! Last year Alison and I mustered up our courage and canned a bushel of peaches. I think Bridger has eaten a quarter of ours, that kid loves peaches! :) Now, what to try next?...
Apples GALORE!!!

(last year's peaches)

Andrew's applications have been in for about a month now, and he has been invited for two interviews. (YAY!) His first was conducted over the phone with Rockhurst University, in Kansas City, MO. On the 27th he will be flying down to Phoenix to interview in Glendale at Midwestern. He is hopeful as optimistic, as am I. I know that things will work out, and we will end up where we need to be. Good luck Andrew!
Who wouldn't want this boy in their PT program?!

We have been very blessed, and recognize our Heavenly Father's hand in our lives.
