Last weekend a wonderful baby shower was thrown for me by the women in my family. It was so fun to see friends and family members and eat good food. Baby girl was spoiled! When I got home and showed Andrew the generosity of everyone, his comment was that she officially has more clothes than he does. ;)
This week I got to go to Clear Creek, the district owned camp that fifth graders are invited to attend. It is A LOT of work, but worth it to see how much fun these 10 year olds have runnin amuck up in the mountains! It was defiantly winter up there (just outside of Schofield, UT) with a high of 30. brrrrr! The sun was out and the sky was blue-- 10 year olds will still play kick ball, even if the field is covered in snow. Horray for Clear Creek and more priceless memories.
Hunter and Tate joined us for the weekend. This morning we drove up to SLC to attend the NCAA Mountain Regional Cross Country meet. It was quite the race! There were athletes there from all over-- including UTEP (all my home-slices), the U of M (my new home-slices), NMSU Aggies, others from Colorado and Arizona, and of course all the Utah universities. Andrew had a couple friends competing in the 10k. The winner ran it in like 29 minutes... yeah that's right 6 miles- 29 minutes. Madness. The boys, of course, loved it.
Oh and we cannot forget this little guy's 1st birthday! Oh Bronson gets cuter everyday.
Wait, did Andrew get into Montana?? I'm glad we got to see you guys, it was GREAT catching up!!
ReplyDeleteI kinda teared up looking at your baby shower pics. I sure wish I was there, but glad Little J and Mama J could represent. I cannot wait to see you in December. You are BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Ayrel right here... I'm dying that I couldn't be there... stupid, horrible, no-good morning-all-day-all-night sickness!! BOO!
ReplyDeletelooks like one awesome party!! I would have been hanging out at the food table the whole time (if it was ANYTHING like your bridal shower!!)
Love you sooo much!
