First UVU Meet

Start of 110H

Oh Yeah!

UVU finally has a track! Just in time for Andrew's last season. Well, since yesterday was the first meet, and he won his three events, he holds three stadium records! Pretty cool huh!? Thursday night Andrew threw up all night long, so we were a bit nervous to see what kind of strength and stamina he would have for his races. Evidently, the 24 hour bug he had just "lightened him up" to jump over those hurdles with more ease. ;)

The following are from the UVU website:

Two of the Wolverines' first-place finishes came from senior Andrew Graham who won the men's 110m hurdles with a time of 14.87 seconds and the 400m hurdles in 53.53.

"There's nothing that really can explain it," said Graham. "Being able to come out and have your own facility and be able to walk on it, train on it, and run with your teammates on it, it just completes the program. This is my fifth season, and my whole time here we've been at Mountain View or Orem High School and its different now, to have your own track. It's awesome."

His 4x4 relay team also took first. It was a really fun relay to watch... 4 really fast dudes.
