Ohio

Last weekend I added Ohio to my list of "states visited." I was honored to be a guest at the baby shower of Baby Gonzalez. Ayrel and I have been friends since I was in kindergarten. I have so many great memories with her, and this was another to add to the list. Ben, whom I also grew up with, was so generous in inviting me and making it possible for me to be at the baby shower. It was so much fun!

While in the Cleve, I also was able to visit some of the local attractions. I was able to go to the historic site of Kirtland. It was raining cats and dogs, so we decided to forego the tour, but were able to wander around and get some pictures. What a special place.

Our family's all time favorite movie, A Christmas Story, was filmed in Cleveland. Turns out, someone else loves the movie as much as we do. That someone decided to purchase the house and turn it into a museum. It was umm... AWESOME. I was quoting the movie left and right, I might have pretended I was acting the movie as well. Pretty sure Ayrel and Ben were reminded of what a weirdo I am. :)
