Fingers

I got to have an unexpected ultrasound this morning. I think it was just what I needed.  When you are 37 weeks pregnant, you've been waddling around in 100 temperatures for months, and you are having trouble getting comfortable in any position- you might forget what this is all for!!

When I saw our little man today, I was reminded that it is all so worth it- I was instantly snapped out of my grumpy mood that I have been in for a few days and grumpiness was replaced with love and excitement.  I was alone in the ultrasound room- Andrew was at school and Makayla off with a friend- and I enjoyed every minute- just me smiling at my little guy.  I loved seeing the little bean that has been jabbing at my belly for the past 37 weeks. Peaceful and reassuring.

I can't wait for these little fingers to be clutching mine in a few weeks.
