Spooky

Makayla loved Halloween! For the past month she has enjoyed the seasonal section at the stores and all the decorations that have been out on people's lawns and doors. Every time she would see any type of halloween  anything she would say: "Spooooky!"
We had lots of fun celebrating with "kunkins" "ghosts" and "spooky" this year.

Last week we celebrated at the UOP carnival.

Monday night we carved pumpkins. 

Makayla was quite taken by the pumpkin... so much so I couldn't get her to look up

Wednesday we enjoyed some trunk-or-treating at the church.  Makayla loved this concept of standing, staring, getting candy, and walking away. She also loved ripping each piece of candy open with her teeth, giving it a taste, then moving on to the next treat. Good thing this holiday is only once a year! :)
