This and That

We have been busy around here!  I will just let the pictures tell the stories...

First things first, we are down to one "diaper bum" in the house. Miss Makayla is a big girl who uses the toilet and wear panties (she would love to show them to you-) Her little bum is quite cute in her big girl panties. (and yes- she is climbing up her diaper changer- still a monkey)
However, she is very particular.  She does not like to use her little toilet seat, sometimes she has to have the door shut, and other times she wants the lights off (which can be difficult in public restrooms) All in all, she is a rockstar at this potty business.

Our poor baby boy caught the dreaded RSV it was heartbreaking to hear him cough and cough until he was throwing up and blue in the face- he was a champ at his breathing treatments.

Makayla mastered the trike. She is a free woman now, riding off into the sunset with her "pack back"
She cruises.

He is the sweetest cuddler.  He loves to snuggle right up to you, and on my lucky days, Jack and I are found in my bed during nap time, belly to belly catching some zzzzs. He is so mild mannered and sweet.

Makalya and I went to Disney on Ice!! I remember as a little girl always seeing the commercial when they came to town... I finally lived my dream of going! ;) Makayla was totally enthralled, and for days afterwards, kept requesting to see the princess dance.

It was so fun to see her captivated by the magic of Disney!

We had a sweet Valentine's Day.  Makayla and I woke up to love notes, balloons, and gifts from Andrew. Such a sweet husband and daddy.  That evening we enjoyed Andrew's favorite, Chicken Divan, and decorated sugar cookies.

Andrew had a monster test the next day so we left him in peace and quiet and hung out with some friends who's husbands were away on love day.

Andrew has been busy busy and is now WELL into his LAST semester of classes- he is working hard (as always) On mornings that he isn't too tired he will leave early and head out for a bike ride before classes and catch scenes like this one.

Life is good.
