I was blessed with some amazing people in my life, while living in Stockton. I hate saying bye- so I tried to sneak away, quietly, but it didn't exactly go that way. There are so many wonderful people that I am going to miss DEARLY, but I am lucky to have learned from them while I had the opportunity.
What would really get me is watching Makayla saying goodbye to her little buds. Saddest thing ever.
When I think back on the life lessons and experiences I had in Stockton, I know that we were where we needed to be for that chapter of our life. And we enjoyed it. (as much as you can enjoy a super intense doctorate program!)
So what's next? We aren't sure. We decided that we didn't want to stay in the California area (as PERFECT as the weather was!) so we are staying with Alison and Co. while Andrew prepares for the licensing exam. We are exploring our job options and locations... and look forward to the next chapter. But for now, my heart is a little sad, having left so many wonderful people.
