Today at lunch we started talking missions. (all four of us are returned missionaries... Thailand, Japan, and Indiana) Talking about Hungary made me miss that beautiful country... a lot. I hope to return someday to walk down those streets, to hear that beautiful language, to see all those people I fell in love with, and to enjoy a chocolate bar.... (or 2...or 3....).
This made me think about the time I asked you about Hungarian etiquette regarding our Hungarian neighbor--remember? Oh, and I remember how excited you were to see your Hungarian chocolate at Smiths in SLC when we were getting Lauren and Evan's honeymoon stuff on their wedding day! Miss ya!
ReplyDeleteYou HAD to mention the chocolate didn't you, you little she-devil! I love that you went on a mission... totally renews my faith that returned sister missionaries are AWESOME... and not socially 'tarded! Let's be honest here, we were ALL sort of worried that you'd come back all about Dress Barn-- whew, thank GOODNESS that didn't happen!!!!!
ReplyDeletelol oh katy... half the reason i post anything at all is to read your comments... thank you... and rest assured my dress barn jumpers are tucked away in the back of my closet, waiting for a special occasion...
ReplyDeleteJust be sure you get them cleaned and ironed for when i come and visit.... we'll paint the town RED in your wool jumpers and teacher sweaters (cuz i KNOW you've got at least THREE sweaters with kittens chasing balls of yarn or Christmas trees with actual dangley "ornaments" hanging from your bosom)
ReplyDeleteand i'm jealous.
