I love my husband, my dad (and dad in law), my bothers (and brothers in law), but without female bonding time, life would be amiss. This conversation and connection comes in all forms... emails, texts, awesome comments left on a blog/facebook page, phone calls, or the best: actual face to face conversation (even better when accompanied by something yummy to eat). I am so so thankful for all of my "sistas!" (yes, I can say that, I grew up on the border (which really has nothing to do with calling my homegirls sistas)) I have been blessed with so so many great sisters, sister in laws, and friends. So, remember, we need each other! So, your challenge: contact (in ANYWAY) one of those female friends that you are thankful for... maybe today is the day that they need YOU!

ReplyDeleteanyway, I totally and completely concur with your post... we chicks need each other for SO MUCH and I'm eternally grateful that you're one of my best gals (or as the dirty south say, "CHULAS") Life, memories, and future would just NOT be the same without you.
And i know a few of the awesome ladies in your life, and must say, DANG, You are BLESSED!
ps. i still to this day miss hitting the sack with you in the bed across the room and we would simultaneously say good night to each other as we stuff our earplugs in our ears.... memories...
