24 years ago Andrew was born in Papaiti, Tahiti. YAY! I am sure glad he was. It has been fun celebrating his birthday. Yesterday we had a nice family dinner with the Grahams. Afterwards we had Texas Sheet Cake and hummed to Andrew. (he wasn't in the mood for singing ;)) Today after school we went to Seven Peaks with all the kiddos. It was so nice to be with Andrew during the day, on a school day. He deserved a little break. After the pool, we enjoyed a hot'n'ready $5 pizza. Andrew is easy to please. For his birthday he got a really cool bike jersey, and some sunglasses. Happy Birthday Buster! Here is to another year!
so... you can stop reading now... because the next part will bore you...
24 reasons I LOVE ANDREW....
1. He gets me my socks, after we are already in bed.
2. He makes some really interesting noises. ;)
3. He likes to spend time with me.
4. He works hard at everything he does.
5. He runs really fast.
6. He is humble. (too humble sometimes)
7. He loves and respects his parents.
8. He plays (hard) with the nieces and nephews (a lot)
9. He puts up with me and all my moodiness.
10. He makes me feel younger, when your hubby is 2.5 years younger than you, you automatically loose 1.5 years... it's odd, but true :) .
11. He will watch a chick flick or two with me.
12. He is a great biking buddy, he waits for his slow wife.
13. He makes me want to be a better person.
14. He is easy going.
15. He likes my bum. (not my favorite feature;))
16. He wants a cat, and lets stray ones in our home. (not sure why this makes me love him...)
17. He never makes me feel guilty for splurging on a new shirt or new pair of shoes.
18. He shops KSL and Pawn Shops... thrifty's good.
19. He is soft spoken. Never has he raised his voice at me.
20. He has one really long eyelash that never falls off, I named him Pete.
21. He takes really good pictures.
22. He built a cannon in metal shop.
23. He plays the bagpipes.
24. He takes longer to get ready for bed than I do...then comes to bed and tickles me. Every night. (If it's a school night, he gets in trouble)
As you can see just from these 24 examples, I am a pretty lucky woman.
Yes, you are a very lucky woman. I have always wanted to play the bagpipes, but having a husband who plays the bagpipes would be just about as cool! And I would say that he is a very lucky man, so you're even!
ReplyDeletep.s. - how are things coming for your YW camp??!
I read this last night at the airport, and it made me laugh. The guy next to me looked at me strangely- I ignored him. Oh, you and your socks. You are a lucky woman that Andrew gets you your socks. My favorite is #16. And that it's a reason you love him. I feel like I remember you not being too fond of cats...that one really made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteNext time I see Andrew I would like to be introduced to Pete. Tell me the name has nothing to do with the dog. I like Andrew too bc he plays bagpipes...although, he has yet to play them for ME :)
Happy B-day Mr. Graham!
Aw boy, That Andrew is pretty wicked awesome!! You ARE lucky (so lucky to have a little friend named Pete that will stay strong through it all too). I love love love the list!!! hahaha, i love the cat one too-- creepy, yet very adorable!
ReplyDeleteWe seriously need to get together soon- me and Taylor are getting really really OLD and we might not be around much longer to play with you young whipper snappers!
Happy Bday, Andrew from Tahiti who likes Kris's booty... you are one freakishly radical man and I'm sooo happy she found such a great guy who actually deserves such a Top Notch woman!!!!!! Love you both!
