Ragnar 2011

I was volunteered to participate in the Ragnar Relay. I am glad I was, because I may have never had this experience if it had been all up to me! :) As a team we ran from Logan to Park City 192 miles. It was a lot of fun! I am not in the best physical shape at the moment, so I was a bit nervous, but I was able to do it! We completed the course in 31 hours 13 minutes. A 9:24 average mile. Not too shabby for a bunch of amateurs and a few serious runners! :) We had a great team with friends, cousins, an aunt and uncle and, Alison and Rhett. Way to go team! I learned a few things about myself... 1. It feels good to be a part of a team. It was fun to have the van drive by, honking and cheering me on. 2. I really want to get back into pre-baby shape! 3. I enjoy running. 4. My family is super cool. :)

After Party :)

After we crossed the finish line, we all met up in Park City with other family members for swimming and good food. It was a great time!
