I've decided that holidays will be way more fun now that little Makayla is around. :)
Halloween festivities began on Tuesday. UOP sponsors a 'safe trick-or-treat' each year. Makayla and I met up with Lynn and Aldo to check it out. There were lots of people and some really great costumes. The school's organizations, fraternities, and sororities, all set up booths with little games or activities. Makayla had to throw a ball in a basket, and she got to decorate her own pumpkin. :) When Andrew got out of class he came over and enjoyed the festivities with us.
Thursday the kids got to wear their costumes to story time. After Miss Suzie (best story teller) finished her collection of halloween stories (including Where the Wild Things Are) we got to go on a parade around the library. It was a lot of fun.
Monday night we headed on over to the church for trunk or treating...
The cupcake and the train conductor :)
Andrew did a great job of passing out candy to the trunk or treaters.

Mykala is so freakin' cute! Avery was going to be a cupcake too! But dad won, and she was a rooster :)
