Yosemite

WELCOME!

This week we took a day trip to Yosemite. SO beautiful. It is hard to describe or capture the beaty of this place.  The sheer 8,000 foot cliffs are quite the sight. We thoroughly enjoyed being in such a beautiful place.

We first "hiked" to Bridalveil Falls. It was just a short little walk up to some nice waterfalls.  This late in the season, there wasn't much to them, but it was a good hike for Makayla. She did start with shoes on, but stopped in the middle of the trail to take off her shoes, and proceeded up and down the trail barefooted. (as usual)

Next on the agenda was to hike Vernal Falls. The hike was 4ish miles- with a whole lotta climbing. It was a beautiful trail, with breathtaking views of the Vernal Falls.

Ready to go!

 The Valley

Afterwards, we headed further into the valley and visited the Ansel Adams photo gallery and the cool visitor's center.

We drove the valley loop one more time to get some shots of Half Dome, El Capitan, and  Royal Arches. So amazing. Andrew was able to get some rally good shots.

Next time we visit Yosemite, Half Dome is on the agenda, what an amazing place.

  4. So fun! I've only been there once, but it was definitely memorable. You guys have been doing so many fun things lately.

P.S. You make pregnancy look so good! (My first thought was, maybe these are from awhile ago—she doesn't look pregnant. Hah!)
