GO GO GO

Makayla will not see a runner or a biker and not cheer them on. She yells "GO GO GO" - I think it all started with the Olympics. Anyways- she also thinks that every man she sees on a bike is dada. She calls to them and says "Hi dada"

Andrew participated in a few road bike races this summer- Makayla and I only made it to one of them- but they still need to be documented! :)

On the 4th of July he did a criterium in Davis. This is a race where there is a set course, in this case, it was .8 of a mile right in downtown Davis and you have 30 minutes to do it as many times as possible. Pretty intense, fast, furious, and 50 bikes packed together taking those 90 degree turns much faster than I would prefer.

Next was a road race in a town called Dunniagns.  46 miles Time: 1:53

A few weeks ago was his last one in Winters.  50 miles Time 2:14

We found him just as he was coming back into town, after crossing the finish line and were able to get some pictures.

Later that week, Andrew got to spend 24 hours in a wheel chair as part of an assignment for school. Makayla called this a bike too, and enjoyed riding around with dada. :) 

headed off to school
