Birthday number two

Miss Makayla turned TWO. She is no longer a baby... she is all grown up, Miss Independent, she is TWO. I love my handful of a two year old, more than words can express.  She makes me laugh, cry, go crazy, smile, think, dream, try harder, be better, increase my patience, softens my heart, and amazes me every day.

We kicked it off with opening presents. Then had some waffles with sprinkles.  We lit two candles in her waffles- her banana at lunch, and her pizza for dinner ha- we sang, and she blew them out. (and then we did it again... and again....she could not get enough!)

Thursday is our playgroup day.  Makayla loves Anton and Ava- but do you know how hard it is to get three two year olds to sit still for a pic?! Crazies

After nap- we took Makayla bowling for her first time.  She loved it! She went right up, picked up that 6 pound ball, waddled over to the line and pushed it down. She even got a spare one round. Woot!

The night ended with pizza and her pink strawberry cake that she decorated all on her own. (hence the big pile of sprinkles right in the middle!)

Makayla wished herself a "Happy Birthday Playla" several times today... and requested that we (and everyone/anyone) sing.  She loved the spotlight today.  Can't wait to see the changes that lie ahead in this next year. We will continue to enjoy this silly bug one day at a time
