Christmas in Colorado

We were lucky enough to spend the holidays with mom and dad in Colorado.  Since the Moores live there now, we had an added bonus!! The girls loved having each other around.  I can still hear sweet Simone coming up the stairs yelling out for "Kia!"
We had a blast we were able to do a lot...I guess it's more fun to just look at pictures, instead of reading about it!! :)
Makayla helped in the annual Adams Family Sugar Cookie Extravaganza

All ready to go deliver cookies

Christmas Morning, getting ready to open gifts

It was so fun watching Makayla open presents- she would clap and yell WOW- then move right on to the next ha

That afternoon Makayla and I made a little gingerbread house

We all enjoyed a delicious ham dinner

Chef Eric

We had a wonderful Christmas!!
We spent the rest of our time lounging and being really lazy...and...

Staying up late playing lots of games

Checking out the new Children's Museum

Touring the Budweiser Factory- super interesting.  We were probably the ONLY adults who have turned down the free beer samples at the end of the tour- we all enjoyed some ROOT beer and pretzels though!!
Makayla thought the clydesdales were pretty cool

Getting a pedicure with mom, Jack and Lauren

Eating at Cafe Rio (twice) so yummy

Hanging out with Ryan for 2 nights

Taking FREEZING walks

and playing outside

Driving up to the Horsetooth Reservoir

So beautiful and SO cold

Having fun with these two silly girls

Snuggling with him

NewYear's Eve was spent dancing the night away... in the living room in front of the Wii :)  Everyone had some pretty cool moves to showoff.  I was too busy filming to remember to take a picture! We did all make it to  midnight ball dropping, and clinked our glasses of Martinelli's together. :)

New Years Day chef Eric spoiled us with a delicious prime rib feast. Good food, good company, a gear  way to start the new year!

  1. I wish our families lived just down the street from each other- like the good 'ole days. Then our little ones could play with their new toys with each other. Glad you had such a nice time with your parents and Lauren. Miss the Adams family!!!
