Five Years

On Wednesday, June 19th, Andrew and I celebrated five years of marriage. WOW! Go us! :) After 5 years of marriage, 4 addresses, 2 kids, Andrew earning almost (3 more months!) 2 degrees, lots of laughs, kisses, hugs, and fun.
The day started with Andrew leaving bright and early for his internship and me taking Makayla to her 7:45 dentist appointment to get 3 cavities filled.  Real life. :) However, before he left, Andrew surprised me with the best breakfast a girl could ask for:  a pound of strawberries and a bottle of nutella. I polished off the entire pound in no time. Wednesday night is mutual night, as we are both work with the youth, so we spent the evening together at the church. Again, real life. :)
Friday evening, however, we took advantage of a kind friend and dropped BOTH kids off so we could go out all alone! Big deal. This was the first time we had left both kids with someone and gone out all alone.  It was fun. We could talk, without someone trying to talk over/between/through us, or without someone crawling up or on us! We even sat on the same side of the table and cuddled up to each other as we shared dessert.  Shameless. ;)
It is really hard to believe that we have already been married for five years.  We have been blessed beyond measure, and look forward to the future.
