Makayla, 10 months going on 15...

She is growing up way too fast, in the past couple of weeks she has picked up all sorts of tricks. I am amazed at how fast she learns and grows. It makes me a bit sad. Slow down time! (I am sure every parent feels this way at some point)

Makayla loves music, and now begins to dance every time she hears music.. or loud noise, that could be music. She rocks her body up and down and moves her hands.

She has also picked up clapping, and will clap when she is excited or happy, or sometimes to say hello. Today at church she just stared a lady square in the eye, straight face, and clapped her heart out. haha

Her coolest trick is walking with her dragon toy. She moves all over the house with this thing. She also makes her way around the kitchen holding onto the fridge, then the oven, then the cupboards. She won't walk holding onto our hands though, funny girl.

She has mastered the art of climbing, and will climb onto anything, including the dishwasher if I leave the door down. She climbs up staircases, but we are working on the going down.

She loves tossing things. She will crawl towards something, pick it up with one hand, toss it, crawl after it, and do it all again. She is great at entertaining herself.

She loves her Baby Einstein videos, she squeals in delight as soon as they start.

She learned 2 tricks that aren't as cute- shaking her head no, and spitting out her food. She hates being held down, so changing her diaper can be a chore. If Andrew is home he pins her arms down while I get her legs. She is one active baby- and loves to be moving EVERY SECOND!
