Thanksgiving Break

It has been nice to be home, and even better that Andrew had Wednesday-Friday off! On Wednesday we set out to check something off our "California Bucket List." We toured the JELLY BELLY FACTORY. Yes, THE factory. I've always loved the yummy candy, and had a really good time seeing the process of how they were made, wearing cool jelly belly hats, and getting free samples all along the way. I took some great pictures... and then... they all got deleted. SO SAD. Guess we will have to go back to recapture it and to buy another bag of "Belly Flops." :)

Thursday, Thanksgiving, we spent in our pjs till 2:00. :) At 3:00 we headed over to have a feast with some friends. The Ricks hosted and had the Robisons, Cochrans, and us over. It was fun to be part of a big group, to have all ages of kids running about. They even favored us with a fashion show. :) Kids always liven things up!! We had a great time.

The Party

The fashion show... I tried to get this wig on Makayla, she was NOT having it!

Friday, I couldn't resist the shopping urge. I didn't participate in any late night or early morning madness...but I did swing by Target midmorning, to see if there was anything left. :) I picked up a few things. Later on Andrew and I went out to Best Buy and the mall to look around.

Saturday was another day spent in PJs. Andrew studied most of the day, until we went out to a local favorite, Chucks Hamburgers, for dinner. It was this cute ma and pa type of diner.

It has been nice to have Andrew around more. He has almost completed the first semester! yay!! We look forward to being with family for the Christmas break.

Oh yeah, last weekend Makayla completed her first 5k. A local high school held a run to raise money for their own track, of course, Andrew wanted to participate in this. We had fun, even when the stroller got a flat and I almost tipped the whole thing over! :) I think I need to have a chat with the lady that said the route was stroller friendly... most defiantly not!
Ready to run the "Whomble Rumble" Lodi Lake, Lodi CA

  2. I can't believe your little beauty is already 10 months, crazy. It looks like your family had a great Thanksgiving. I love this time of year. How fun to run a 5k with the family. I love all the pictures. It's so fun having internet again to read friends blogs and actually leave comments again. Love and miss you Kristen.
